Week ending March 31st,2014

This week was WONDERFUL! We had to stay in a bit but we still saw miracles which was so great!
We unfortunately had to drop quite a few of our investigators this week. That was such a bummer and it was so hard. As missionaries we really develop a connection with the people we teach and a strong desire to see them progress, but everyone has their agency and sometimes they choose not to progress. Unfortunate but true. So we are pretty much starting from scratch here in Overlake, and we are ready to find those new people that are waiting to have the gospel in their lives.
So amazing miracle of the week... we got a new investigator who is sooooo prepared for the gospel! She is a little rough on the edges but so funny. At first we though that she was not interested in having us there at all, but then her demeanor changed and she invited us in, and she was DELIGHTFUL! Before we could offer her a church tour she asked to see our church ASAP! so we are giving her a Church tour today during our p-day. Super excited. Then she asked if we had literature.... um yes! ha so we gave her a Book of Mormon. we explained that we read it along side of the Bible and she was soooo surprised. So naturally I showed her my quad. She loved it, and she wants one! Ha and then my companion tried to explain where the closest Deseret book was but showing a picture of the temple, and our new investigator said "That building is yours? That is the most beautiful building I have ever seen. I love looking at that whenever I drive by." Ha perfect!!!! She is so wonderful! Oh and if you could have seen her face when we asked if we could pray with her. She literally lit up! She was so excited to be able to pray! she is wonderful and I cannot wait to meet with her again today :)
My kidneys are doing much better. I am still waiting on the results from my lab test but the pain has been down these last two days and I am so thankful! Sister Tanner and I are so fired up and ready to WORK! it has been about two weeks since we have had a really awesome work week, don't get me wrong our area book is looking great (when I needed to rest sister tanner organized our area book even more) but we are excited to TEACH!!! It is going to be an amazing week and we are so excited for conference! Hope you have an amazing week as well!
Here are some photos from the last few weeks. I hope you enjoy them! I love you all and I will write more next week on MOM'S BIRTHDAY!!!! YAY!
